CollabraMed Portals

Knowledge Portal

CollabraMed’s built-in knowledge portal gives physicians involved in a consultation instant access to centralized information and databases for knowledge sharing about medical practices, procedures, and treatment guidelines. It also enables webinars to be offered to medical staff in the areas of medical and patient security protocols and allows for presentations to be linked to and from the various participants.

Patient Portal

In addition, CollabraMed supports an Internet portal that allows patients at member hospitals and medical practices to log onto their own medical database to get the results of lab tests or review their medical records. And, since all information is stored securely in the cloud, it is accessible from anywhere in the world but only by authorized patients and medical staff. All data is stored using a medical industry standard formats that are also used by hospitals, insurance companies and pharmacies.

Reduces Medical Errors

Because CollabraMed keeps medical providers in touch, regardless of where they are or their area of specialty, medical groups using CollabraMed can reduce costly medical errors by ensuring healthcare workers have immediate access to the critical information they need, thus improving quality of care, minimizing wasted resources, and making a compelling case for interventions that will make a difference, including deploying electronic medical records and information systems.

Reducing medical errors requires a consistent information system that keeps track of patient history, status, and interventions, then compares these results to recognized standards and protocols all features provided by CollabraMed.

Standardized Patient Data

The CollabraMed system achieves this by providing the ability to interpret and gather patient data that is captured in the various pharmacy, lab, and admitting systems that are brought into the collaboration process and use that data to help clinicians work more effectively. When combined with editorially consistent clinical information, standardized patient data facilitates the efficient creation, maintenance, and use of safety profiles, clinical rules, and standard protocols.

Additionally, when information is accessible throughout the patient care system (e.g. hospitals, physicians, etc.), clinicians are able to work much more efficiently. The integration provided by CollabraMed also improves patient care by acting as a safety net, for example when drugs are ordered with the wrong dose, when there is a dangerous drug interaction, or if a patient could have a life-threatening allergic reaction to a drug.
